Have you heard about Depok?? Are you familiar with "Jabodetabek" ?? The "de" in Jabo detabek refers to Depok.
Depok is a city in West Java province, Indonesia on the southern border of DKI Jakarta in the Jabodetabek metropolitan region. , while the word "depok" itself comes from Sundanese language meaning hermitage or abode of one living in seclusion. There is also a saying that the Depok word is an acronym of De Eerste Protestants Onderdaan Kerk.
If you travel to Depok, you will find everything in cheap price. Because Depok (Margonda especially) is surrounded by colleges, such as University of Indonesia, BSI, GICI, LP3I, PNJ and Gunadarma University. Like we know, student college has limited pocket money :p so everything that is sold in Depok is friendly for your pocket. You must visit Kober, Pocin for stationery, fashion stuff, food and books, or Depok Town Square.
2. The food
So many resturant/ food stall in Depok.
You must try well-known Es Pocong, Sop Duren, Tahu Jeletot or Kue Pancong. So delish.
oh not only 3 kind of food that you must try. There are someplaces that also have delicious food like Sushi Miyabi, Warung Pasta, Warung Sate Gajah, Kopibar, Tenda Biru Pocin, Ayam Bakar Ortega (in Beji).

3. UI Forest and UI Library
UI Library is considered as the largest library in Asia. Designed according to a sustainable building concept, the library powers itself with solar energy. Universitas Indonesia Library has the capacity to accommodate about 20,000 visitors per day and is expected to have a collection of 3 million-5 million books. There are also Starbucks, Times and Korea Restaurant. You can refresh your mind by just sit in library's park in there.
As a green campus, UI has forest. This is one and only forest in metropolitan region. I like to pass through the forest because of fresh air. You can also ride your bike and jogging in jogging track.
4. Books, comics rental
Nearby Kober, you will find Comic Zone, also inside Zoe Cafe, there's a books rental. It provides novel, comic (from Western to Eastern comic) and magazine. Not to mention its place, so comfort :)
You can also find Kafe Buku or something, i'm sorry i forgot, in a way to ITC Depok.
And many others books rental
For you book worm, this is a right place to visit.
5. Body Caring
Ladies.....you can find Natasha, NMW, Jasper and Wijaya easily in here..and they are adjacent.
